Morris, It’s the Food!

Hello, my name is Robert Ealy, MD.  I am Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and have over 25 years of experience.  In my years of practice, I have heard all sorts of complaints.  I am going to share with you How to Stay the Hell out of my Emergency Department (WWW.SOOMER.ORG)!

Although I routinely exercised at least 4-5 times throughout the years, I slowly had begun to gain weight.  I would routinely scratch my head and wonder why I could not fit into my size 32 jeans?.  I figured since I worked out pretty hard, I should be able to maintain my weight and basically eat whatever my heart desired!  Alas, that was not the case.  Morris, it’s the Food!

As my mentor Tom Venuto (National Fitness Expert, National Award-Winning Natural Body Builder, Mentor, Best Selling Author…, is fond of saying:, “One cannot out work a bad diet.”  After seeing a picture of me at an event with some friends, I decided I had seen enough.  Tom also shared with me that if I wanted to transform my body from looking like I was pregnant to becoming leaner, stronger, fitter and healthier, the first thing I would need to accomplish is to achieve and maintain a calorie deficit diet via better nutrition.  I would have to defer to higher quality foods totaling fewer calories fewer carbohydrates and fats.  Fortunately, I followed Tom Venuto’s instructions and lost 20-25 lbs.  I have lost enough weight that I need to put another hole in my belt (See Before & After Pictures).
